Bonsoir, Bienvenue, Welcome...

Welcome to a world filled with glitter, glamour, stylish outfits, fabulous frocks, frenetic dance routines, sing-along melodies, big ballads, quintessential key-changes, laughter, joy, tears, tantrums, calamity, shock, horror and general gay abandon.

Welcome to the world of the Eurovision Song Contest, and welcome to the unique view of someone who has devoted over forty years in its pursuit.

I only post for the two weeks of Eurovision each year - so the rest of the time the blog lays dormant. But you can visit anytime. You'll find all my musings going right back to 2005 here.

Please do make use of the "comment" facility! I love to hear what you think, even if it's only to laugh at the daft photos...

After missing the contest in 2018 and 2019 due to health issues which prevented me from travelling, and then the 2020 contest being cancelled due to the COVID pandemic, we are back with a vengeance for the 2021 contest.

Whatever your interest, or morbid curiosity, I do hope you find something here to tickle your fancy!
